Education Department Deputy Secretary Is Nominated
It's official. President Bush nominated William D. Hansen last week to be the deputy secretary at the Education Department.
Mr. Hansen, who led the recent transition at the department, is currently the executive director of the Education Finance Council, which lobbies on behalf of nonprofit lenders of student loans.
