Education Department Considers Revisions in Privacy-Law Regulations, Official Says
The government is weighing changes in the regulations that govern the nation's main education-privacy law, a senior Department of Education official told college administrators at a conference here last week.
The official, LeRoy S. Rooker, is director of the department's Family Policy Compliance Office. He spoke at the annual meeting of the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers.
