Editors of Alumni Magazines: Journalists and Team Players

John L. Pulley's article "Alumni Editors Fail to Win Support in Bid for Greater Independence" (June 25) did a comprehensive job of presenting the current state of the face-off between fund raisers and editors. One point that was not made abundantly clear, which is the crux of the whole debate, is that alumni magazines are just that: magazines for alumni. Editors are constantly thinking about
