Editor of 'The American Scholar' to Teach at Smith; a Cal State President Under Fire -- Again
"I'm so didactic by nature," admits Anne Fadiman, the editor of The American Scholar. "As my husband has often told me, I might as well make it official." And so she will, beginning a two-year teaching stint at Smith College that she hopes will become permanent.
