Editor of 'Science' Voices Doubts on NIH's Proposed On-Line Archive
The editor in chief of the prestigious multidisciplinary journal Science is expressing deep reservations about a proposed electronic archive of biomedical research to be sponsored by the National Institutes of Health.
In an editorial published in the journal's July 9 issue, Floyd E. Bloom cites "some potentially troubling elements" in the proposal. But he stops short of declaring his opposition to the archive,
