Ed. Dept. Urged to Study Aid to Student Soldiers
The U.S. Government Accountability Office has recommended that the Education Department undertake a congressionally mandated study about the effects of a student-aid program for active military members, which the department was supposed to have completed over 18 months ago.
In a report issued this month, the office, which is the investigative arm of Congress, also made suggestions for how the department could get around problems that have prevented it from conducting the study so
