Edward W. (Ned) Hill, who was named dean of Cleveland State University's Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs on June 24, dreamed of becoming a regional economist.
It was the economics of his own hometown, Derby, Conn., a manufacturing center, that inspired the youngster's career choice.
