Faculty members at Eastern Oregon University overwhelmingly voted no confidence in the leadership of the campus’s president on Wednesday and asked the system’s chancellor and the state’s Board of Higher Education to review the president’s performance, The Oregonian reported today. Dissatisfaction over budget cuts, low salaries, and other financial issues appears to underlie the faculty discontent.
