CHANGING OF THE GUARD: Eastern Michigan University is being sued by its former president while it looks for a new one.

The large public institution convened an advisory committee last Thursday to begin a presidential search. That morning, the former president, John A. Fallon III, who was fired this summer after the apparent coverup of a student's murder, filed a lawsuit against the Board of Regents.
