While I agree with Richard R. Beeman's points pertaining to the Constitutional Convention, I cannot help wonder if he does a bit of a disservice to the issue by looking only at the convention and not at the presidencies of the founding generation ("The Founding Fathers and Executive Power," The Chronicle Review, March 17).
