Earlham Settles Lawsuit Over Firing
Earlham College has settled a wrongful-termination lawsuit filed by the former president of a living-history museum managed by the Indiana institution.
John A. Herbst was fired in June, after negotiations to separate the Conner Prairie museum from the college fell apart. The college's president, Douglas C. Bennett, also dismissed most of the members of the museum's Board of Directors.
Mr. Herbst and officials of Earlham and of Conner Prairie all agreed not to discuss publicly
