ETS Halts 3 Admissions Tests in China Because of SARS
Due to the outbreak of severe acute respiratory syndrome, or SARS, students in China will temporarily be unable to take three exams commonly used for evaluating applicants to American colleges, the Educational Testing Service said late last month.
Chinese authorities, meanwhile, have attempted to seal off universities in a desperate bid to keep the disease from continuing to spread.
