ETS Agrees to Alter Policy on Reporting Tests Taken Under Modified Conditions

The Educational Testing Service has announced that it will no longer notify colleges receiving applicants' scores on some of its standardized tests that the examinations were given under modified conditions for people with disabilities. The shift settles a bias lawsuit brought against the testing service.

The new policy is to take effect on October 1, and will apply to the Graduate Record Examination, the Test of English as a Foreign Language, the Praxis tests, and the Graduate
