Duke U. Settles With Lacrosse Player
Duke University and a former lacrosse player have settled a lawsuit in which the player contended that a political-science professor had failed him last spring because he played lacrosse.
Under the agreement, no party admitted any legal liability, according to a joint statement released by the university and the player, Kyle Dowd, and his family.
