Duke Develops Professionals From Within
For 11 months, much of Tera Caldwell's time after work was spent in classes learning business writing, interviewing skills, customer-service techniques, and the financial systems of her employer, Duke University. A twice-a-week internship gave Ms. Caldwell, an accounting clerk at the time, the chance to perform such tasks as helping to reconcile financial statements.
