Drexel Rejects Deal to Manage Allegheny U. of Health Sciences
A plan to prevent the collapse of Allegheny University of the Health Sciences was thrown into doubt last week when Drexel University trustees voted against taking over management of the university.
That decision, which took Allegheny officials by surprise, forced the health-care company that had recently purchased the Allegheny system to scramble for a new academic partner.
