Drew U. Names Its First Jewish President; Rutgers Philosopher Heads South
RELIGIOUS TOLERANCE: Robert Weisbuch, will become the first Jewish president in the history of Drew University, whose theological school has ties to the United Methodist Church.
Mr. Weisbuch, who is president of the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation, will replace former Gov. Thomas H. Kean of New Jersey. Mr. Kean, 70, recently served as the chairman of the federal commission to investigate the September 11 attacks and is retiring this summer.
