Donor Helps 3 Kansas Institutions Increase Their Presidents' Pay
Three public-university presidents in Kansas have found a candy man. A donor has given $1-million to each of their institutions to create endowments that will help increase their pay by as much as 24 percent.
The Kansas Board of Regents last month approved the private supplements, which come from gifts made by Charles W. Oswald, an alumnus of the University of Kansas.
