Donation Withdrawn From Florida College

A Miami entrepreneur has withdrawn a $20-million pledge to Florida International University's new College of Medicine, university officials have announced.

Herbert Wertheim, who is chairman and chief executive of a company that manufactures optical instruments and chemicals and who was also a trustee of the university until he resigned in November, said he had asked Modesto A.
