Donation Spells the End of Wacky Halftime Shows by UVa's Pep Band
Football games at the University of Virginia will become more musical, albeit not as amusing -- to some.
A recent gift to the institution includes $22-million for a new performing-arts center, and $1.5-million to endow a marching band. That means the end of the wacky and sometimes off-color halftime performances by the UVa Pep Band.
