Documentary Accuses 3 British Academics of Spying for East Germany
Three British academics served as spies for the former East German secret police, according to a television documentary broadcast last month.
The BBC production, The Spying Game, said the academics, two of them now retired, provided information to the Stasi until the fall of the Berlin Wall, in 1989.
One of the academics, Robin Pearson, an economics professor at the University of Hull, reportedly went into hiding after British newspapers were shown
