Diversity at Research Universities, 1992-2012

Member institutions of the Association of American Universities were nearly 40 percent more racially diverse in 2012 than they were than 20 years earlier. The diversity index measures, on a scale of 0-100, the probability that any two students at an institution are from different racial or ethnic groups.
