District of Columbia and Its University Clash Over Control of Computer Center
The University of the District of Columbia is once again fighting the government of the District of Columbia over control of the university's administrative-computing center.
A year after a city official blocked the university's plans to buy a new computer system, campus officials again want U.D.C. to operate a data center of its own, while district officials want to move the university's administrative computing to a consolidated data center, operated by the city.
