Disparities Grow in SAT Scores of Ethnic and Racial Groups

REISBERG News of a one-point increase in the average SAT score this year was overshadowed by widening gaps in scores between men and women, urban and suburban students, and members of various racial and ethnic groups, according to statistics presented by the College Board at a news conference here last week.
