Disaster Recovery and Podcasting Top Agenda at Annual Educause Meeting
More than 7,500 college administrators and professors from 41 countries gathered here in October for the annual conference of Educause, a higher-education-technology group.
Diana G. Oblinger, a vice president of Educause, said the most-discussed issue was disaster recovery, as colleges study the lessons of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
Other top issues: security, e-portfolios and similar efforts to assess how well students are learning, and podcasting.
