Disabled Students Need Access to Popular Courses

Thomas Bartlett's "Class Warfare: When Getting In Is the Hardest Part," (The Chronicle, February 15) describes selection processes for students wishing to enroll in especially popular classes. Patricia de Castries, assistant director of the Stanford Language Center, teaches "a wildly popular wine-tasting course at the university" and encourages students to sleep outside her door the night before registration for the course opens.
