Director Named for New Office to Protect Human Research Subjects
The Clinton administration last week named E. Greg Koski, who leads the human-subject-protection program for three teaching hospitals affiliated with Harvard University, to direct a restructured federal office devoted to protecting volunteers in experiments. Health and Human Services Secretary Donna E. Shalala called Dr. Koski "the right person at the right time" to lead the new unit, called the Office of Human Research Protection, as it assumes a higher profile
