Digital Humanities Centers Meet Financial Backers at Summit
Representatives of 17 digital humanities centers and 15 organizations that support them financially gathered at the National Endowment for the Humanities here late last week to meet and greet, and to talk about forming a coalition of the centers.
"The way knowledge is digitized and processed is a new frontier for the humanities," the endowment's chairman, Bruce Cole, said in an interview during the gathering. "These centers are very much the engine of what's going on."
