Demonstrators Urge Harvard to Increase Wages for Service Workers
Several hundred Harvard University students, professors, and service workers held a rally last month, urging the institution to pay its service employees higher wages.
The protest was organized by a campus group known as the Harvard Living Wage Campaign, which was formed two months ago. Participants in the campus rally wanted Harvard to pay its service employees at least $10 per hour. That figure is based on a proposed living-wage
