Demonstrations Banned on Israel's Campuses
The Council of University Presidents has banned political demonstrations on Israel's campuses as of this week, the beginning of the academic year at most institutions. The council cited the need to prevent strife between Jewish and Arab student activists at a time of violent clashes between Palestinians and the Israeli military.
