Democrats and NIH Agree on Bills to Bolster Research on Minority Health

Democratic lawmakers and officials at the National Institutes of Health have agreed to proposed legislation to bolster research on minority health at the N.I.H.

Varmus, who had opposed a comparable measure proposed last summer by Rep. Jesse L. Jackson, Jr. (The Chronicle, September 10).
