Democrats Push White House to Seek Additional Increase for Pell Grants
Top Democrats in the House of Representatives are trying to persuade the Clinton administration to reject any final budget agreement that does not raise the maximum Pell Grant by $500, but the White House has not yet committed to such a stance.
