Democrats Focus on Student Aid, but Questions Remain About Details and Costs
Agenda includes increase in maximum Pell Grant and cuts in student-loan interest rates
After capturing control of the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate, Democratic Congressional leaders vowed last week to move quickly next year to pass legislation to make college more affordable for students and their families.
