Defending Tuition Increases
To the Editor:
While there were some good (not new) insights in James B. Hunt Jr.'s July 16 Point of View essay, there were several serious errors ("'If You Were Governor, What Would You Do?'"). The one that seems to continually crop up is the assertion that, as Governor Hunt put it, "Tuition increases have far outpaced increases in earnings." This is, at best, misleading. ...
