Cultural Studies vs. Literary Studies

Rita Felski's essay makes the case that cultural studies is subject to criticism from every discipline, on the ground that it is not those disciplines ("Those Who Disdain Cultural Studies Don't Know What They're Talking About," Opinion, July 23).
