Critics of CUNY's Ban on Remediation Take Their Complaint to Washington

Another day, another tack to derail a controversial policy that would bar most remedial students from the City University of New York's senior colleges.

Critics of the CUNY policy, who have protested and sued to try to stop it from taking effect next year, have now formally complained to the U.S. Education Department's Office for Civil Rights.
