Critics Seek to End Ban on Aid for Students With Drug Convictions
Rep. Barney Frank, a Democrat from Massachusetts, urged student activists and college-aid administrators who met here at Hampshire College this month to aggressively lobby Congress to repeal a federal law that denies financial aid to students who have been convicted of drug offenses.
