Credit Outlook Is Good for Public Colleges, Investor Service Says
Buoyed by a surge in the college-age population, public colleges and universities have a generally positive credit outlook, says a report issued last week by Moody's Investors Service. However, smaller regional colleges and universities may be imperiled if governments cut their budgets in lean economic times, the report says.
