Creative-Writing Advocates Take Up the Cause of Reading
New guidelines for teaching creative writing to undergraduates that emphasize developing a love of literature will be presented to members of the Association of Writers and Writing Programs next month.
The national organization, whose annual conference begins in New York today, serves undergraduate and graduate writing programs as well as many writers who teach in those programs. Its annual meeting sold out this year, for the first time in the association's 40-year history,
