Court Orders Iowa State U. Foundation to Open Donor Records
The Iowa State University Foundation has been ordered by a state judge to open its donor records to the public.
Ending a three-year legal battle over the records, Judge Timothy J. Finn of the Iowa District Court for Story County ruled in June that the records must be made available "at reasonable times and places."
He ordered Iowa State University's Board of Regents to designate two state employees as legal custodians of the records, taking the responsibility for responding to
