Courses That Combine Online and Face-to-Face Instruction

Hybrid courses make good use of a diverse array of talents ("'Hybrid' Teaching Seeks to End the Divide Between Traditional and Online Instruction," March 22). Such courses address multiple learning styles, and faculty members get the chance to learn about technology in the process of designing and refining materials. ... I'd like to see more team-taught hybrid courses, where faculty members who've developed decades of expertise can train newer scholars and contribute
