Course on the Block

On sale on eBay last month, along with "USS Constitution model L@@K" and "WE THE PEOPLE vhs story of constitution," was a seat in Bruce Rogow's constitutional-law class at Nova Southeastern University, in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

It drew 19 bids in the online auction, with a top offer of $225, about 1 percent of the law school's $21,000 tuition. Then administrators told Ryan Vescio, the first-year law student who had put the seat on the auction block, to take it down.
