Course at Ohio Dominican U. Turns the Entire City of Columbus Into a Classroom
Students who like field trips will love Ohio Dominican University's course, "Urban Connections: Columbus Behind the Scenes."
Only two sessions meet in the classroom; the rest are at local institutions, from the Columbus Museum of Art to a landfill. The aim is to teach students how individual organizations and the city of Columbus function, as well as to encourage "lifelong learning" and civic engagement, says Jill C.
