Course Trains Accountants to Also Be Part Cop
Students in Mark D. Thrasher's "Forensic Accounting and Auditing" class at Hilbert College are trained to be part-accountant, part-cop. With white-collar crime on the rise, says Mr. Thrasher, more and more companies are turning to financial fraud examiners for help. "People are just stealing more," says Mr. Thrasher, a certified public accountant who works part time at Hilbert.
