Course Examines Video Games as Cultural Indicators

The first time William Lugo proposed teaching a course on video games at the University of Sioux Falls, a university committee rejected the idea.

The next year he proposed the course again. Again it was turned down.

"They felt that all we were going to be doing is playing video games in class," says Mr. Lugo, an assistant professor of sociology and criminal justice.
