Course Evaluations Proliferate on the Web -- to the Chagrin of Many Professors
Web sites on which students can post evaluations of professors are proliferating, and there's not much the professors can do about it.
The phenomenon is relatively new, and reaction is sparse, focusing on a handful of courses. But most of the sites have ambitious plans, putting dozens of courses and colleges up for evaluation.
