Country Music's Commentary on Atomic War
COUNTRY'S ATOMIC BOOM: Charles K. Wolfe, a professor of English at Middle Tennessee State University, has become known among record collectors as "the nut who collects atomic-bomb songs." Or at least that's what Mr. Wolfe claims in the last footnote of his essay "Jesus Hits Like an Atom Bomb," which appears with 13 other essays in Country Music Goes to War (University Press of Kentucky).
