Council of Trustees and Alumni Urges Campus Access for Military Recruiters
The American Council of Trustees and Alumni has announced a campaign to urge trustees to guarantee military recruiters' access to their campuses.
The group has sent approximately 75 letters to individual trustees at Columbia, Harvard, Stanford, and Yale Universities, urging the board members to ensure equal access for all recruiters, "whether or not employers' policies mirror those of the university." It plans to continue its letter-writing campaign in the coming weeks.
