Couldn't Bare It
Apparently the publicity left him feeling exposed. Simon H. Stertzer, a professor at the Stanford University School of Medicine and the first surgeon to perform a coronary angioplasty, now plans to unload the two Las Vegas strip clubs he bought in September. He had intended to donate a portion of the clubs' profits to medical research at the university (The Chronicle, October 5).
