Corporate Sponsorship, Lack of Freedom Said to Imperil Medical Studies in Canada

Medical education and research in Canada could be at risk because many clinical faculty members lack the academic freedom and protection needed to fend off pressure from industry or corporate sponsors, according to a report issued in November.
